Brdr. Christensens PR Plug Valves
‘PR’ has become synonymous with Brdr. Christensen ApS and is known all over the world for its robust and reliable shut-off valves.
The plug valves are characterised by their durability and reliability, even under extreme conditions.
With innovative design and high-quality materials, they offer excellent tightness and ease of use,
meeting the requirements of modern industrial applications.
The PR plug valves are not only known for their high functionality, but also for their ease of maintenance,
which enables quick and uncomplicated servicing.
In addition, they are available in various designs to meet the specific needs of our customers.
At KÄHLER Industrie-Armaturen you will find a wide range of PR plug valves that are ideal for a wide variety of applications,
including district heating and cooling supply, industrial and plant engineering, apparatus and pipeline construction, cement industry, chemicals and petrochemicals.
Are you looking for alternative solutions?
KÄHLER Industrie-Armaturen also offers high-quality plug valves developed and produced in-house.
Applications PR plug valve
- constructed for many different applications in heating, cooling, oil or gas systems, particularly suitable for difficult applications in industry, the cement industry, chemicals or petrochemicals as well as for systems with long service lives
- suitable for all non-aggressive media, such as district heating or cooling water, oil, compressed air, high pressure and gas as well as various chemicals, especially suitable for media containing solids, abrasive or crystalline bodies
- robust and reliable even at high pressure and temperatures up to +250°C
- operating conditions according to data sheet
Construction PR plug valve
- robust body made of cast iron, steel or stainless steel
- straight-lined, compact design even with large nominal diameters
- pressure-balanced design (depending on model)
- adjustable conical or cylindrical plug made of cast iron, steel, stainless steel, duplex, titanium, Hastelloy or PTFE coated with an exact fit in the valve body without dead space
- one-piece or decoupled design of plug and stem (depending on model)
- constant sealant film between body and shut-off body that can be re-pressed via integrated sealant screw or with metallic seal without lubricating layer (depending on model)
- stem seal with maintenance-free, glandless O-ring made of Perbunan or PTFE with stainless steel spring or O-ring + graphite
- 90-degree actuation with open/close stop using a star spanner (up to DN150), worm gear, electric, pneumatic or hydraulic actuator
- double block and bleed function for critical media (depending on model)
Versions PR plug valve
