What are strainers?

Strainers are important components in pipeline construction that are used to remove dirt particles and impurities from pipelines. They are used to protect pipes from blockages and damage, facilitate system maintenance and thus improve the performance and service life of the system. They are usually installed in the pipelines upstream of pumps, valves and heat exchangers. In most cases, they are also used in transfer stations.
