Stainless Steel Ball Valves
The Vexve stainless steel ball valve (type NAVAL) was designed for systems in which special media place high demands on corrosion resistance.
The stainless steel ball valves is characterised by high physiological safety and reliability as well as a long service life, making it the ideal solution for critical applications.
Vexve stainless steel ball valves can be used in a variety of process control applications, such as heating and cooling systems
and are particularly suitable for the pulp and paper industry or the chemical and petrochemical industry.

FAQ - Häufig gestellte Fragen zu Edelstahlkugelhähnen
Wann ist ein Edelstahlkugelhahn statt Stahl nötig?
Wenn das Medium korrosiv ist oder hohe Anforderungen an die physiologische Unbedenklichkeit bestehen: wechselnde Wasserqualitäten, Ethanol, Methanol, Glykol, Freezium und ähnliche Chemikalien. Typische Branchen sind Papier und Zellstoff, Chemie und Petrochemie sowie offene Kühlsysteme. Bei Fernwärmewasser und anderen nichtaggressiven Medien reicht die Stahlausführung.
Welche Nennweiten und Anschlüsse sind lieferbar?
DN15 bis DN125 mit vollem Durchgang und DN10 bis DN250 mit reduziertem Durchgang, in PN16, PN25 und PN40. Anschlüsse gibt es als Schweißenden (DN10 bis DN250), Innengewinde (DN10 bis DN50), Flansch (DN15 bis DN250) sowie als Kombinationen Schweißende/Innengewinde und Schweißende/Flansch.
Eignet sich der Edelstahlkugelhahn auch für Fernwärme und Fernkälte?
Ja. Er wird in offenen und geschlossenen Heiz- und Kühlsystemen eingesetzt und ist dort sinnvoll, wo Wasserqualität oder Zusätze wie Glykol höhere Anforderungen an die Korrosionsbeständigkeit stellen. Die zulässigen Betriebsbedingungen richten sich nach Ausführung und Datenblatt.
Wie ist der Edelstahlkugelhahn aufgebaut?
Das Gehäuse ist vollverschweißt und kompakt, die schwimmende Edelstahlkugel läuft in federbelasteten, graphitverstärkten PTFE-Dichtschalen. Die ausblassichere Edelstahlspindel ist dreifach abgedichtet: zwei O-Ringe aus FPM oder NBR und ein graphitverstärkter PTFE-Druckring. Betätigt wird per Handhebel oder Handgetriebe mit 90°-Anschlag.
Kann der Edelstahlkugelhahn automatisiert werden?
Ja, für jede Nennweite ist optional ein pneumatischer, elektrischer oder hydraulischer Antrieb möglich. KÄHLER legt den Antrieb auf Drehmoment, Stellzeit und Umgebungsbedingungen aus und liefert auf Wunsch die montierte und geprüfte Einheit.
